Aaron and Kim in the Gold Coast Hinterland

I can’t believe I’m only just getting around to blogging this beautiful wedding. Since this gorgeous day Aaron and Kim have welcomed a gorgeous baby boy in to their family and he’s already turned one! Time flies doesn’t it?!

On a beautiful sunny August day, Aaron and Kim were busy at work with their families preparing the beautiful Airbnb, Poorinda Hinterland Homestead. It takes a village! They had put together so many beautiful details themselves and their family and friends were more than happy to pitch in to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. From the homemade signs, to the flowers (including the boutonnieres!) to all the details on the reception tables, they did it all! It took Kim months of collecting from marketplace and gumtree to gather all the items they needed for their day and it was worth it!

During wedding party portraits we were photobombed by some eager horses who were very interested in taking a bite out of Kim’s flowers. Then we set off some beautiful (and safe) smoke bombs for some epic portraits. Aaron and Kim were happy to be adventurous during their photos and even sat down in the field. We just had to be careful of the horse droppings. Oops!

During their first dance the power went out across the whole property and all the guests got out their phones, turned on their flash lights and sang the next few bars of the song so that they could still get their beautiful first dance moment. A wedding I won’t soon forget, even if I was slack getting it up on the blog xx
